Ark Diagems

Our place is in the Pravasi Industrial Estate, specifically Unit B-20. It’s just off Arrey Road in Goregaon East. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not like those fancy shops you see in malls. There are trucks and vans moving around all day. We call ourselves Ark Diagems. We focus on diamonds and gems, which is what the name is supposed to mean. The space is practical. We have benches for working and some safes for the stock. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We aren't here to impress anyone with a lobby or soft music. We are here to work on the stones. Most of our visitors are people in the trade or folks who were told to come see us by a friend. It’s a bit out of the way if you’re just wandering around Goregaon, but once you find the estate, we aren't hard to spot. We’ve been in this unit for quite a while now. The floor is concrete, and the walls are just painted white. It’s a simple setup for a serious job. We take our work seriously, even if the office looks a bit plain. It’s just how we like it—no distractions, just the stones and the tools. We keep the door closed to keep the dust out, but we're always inside working.
