Gorai Hill Resort

Our resort is tucked away near Vayral Talav in the Gorai area of Borivali West. It is right opposite the Dagdachadev Chawl, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. This place isn't like those big luxury hotels in the city. It is more of a simple getaway for people who want to see a bit of water and trees without traveling too far. We have some rooms and a small area where kids can run around. The lake is nice to look at, especially in the mornings when it is quiet. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the garden and making sure the paths are clear of leaves. Since we are near the water, the air feels a bit different here. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble because the building is older, but we fix it as soon as we can. We get a lot of families on the weekends who just want to have a picnic or stay overnight. Our kitchen serves basic meals that we cook fresh. It’s a lot of work to maintain a property this size with just a few staff members. We live on the premises mostly, so we are always around if something is needed. It’s a quiet life compared to the middle of Mumbai, and we like the change of pace.
