Gopal Krishna Corporation

Our shop is located at Malabar Hill, which is one of the older and more settled parts of Mumbai. We are in Shop Number 6 of Building Number 101, on the Ba road. If you walk a little bit from our door, you’ll find the Banganga Tank. It’s a very quiet spot compared to the rest of the city, and you can often hear the bells from the nearby temples. The air feels a bit different up here on the hill. Our shop isn’t very large, but it’s right in the middle of the neighborhood. Gopal Krishna Corporation has been in this building for a while now. We see a lot of people who come to visit the tank or just locals walking their dogs in the evening. The pace of life is a bit slower here. We spend our time managing the daily tasks and talking to the regulars who come in. There’s no big sign or flashing lights, just our name on the door. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and a counter where we do our work. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s not too hot. It’s a peaceful place to be. We aren’t trying to do anything big, just keeping the shop running and being part of the Malabar Hill community. It’s a good spot to be in, and we like the history around us.
