Godrej Memorial Hospital

This place is tucked away at 214/Rakhangi Mahal in Worli, specifically at Flat No 7. It’s on Dr. A.B. Road, which is always moving. Working out of a flat gives the whole hospital setup a different feel than a huge building. It’s a bit more personal, though it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of people coming in at once. We’ve got our desks set up and the medical equipment in the rooms, and we just go about our business. The walls are painted a plain off-white, and the windows look out toward the street noise. You can hear the horns honking from Dr. A.B. Road all day long. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just the flat. Most people who come here are locals or people who have been told exactly where to find us. We spend a lot of time organizing files and making sure the equipment is running right. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a small team of us here in Worli. Sometimes we share a meal in the small kitchen area when it’s quiet. We like the neighborhood, even with the traffic. Being in an older building like Rakhangi Mahal has its charms, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. We just focus on the people who walk through the door and try to keep things moving. It feels like a real community here.
