Godrej Memorial Hospital

We spend a lot of our time here at Godrej Memorial Hospital, right across from that big Godrej Tower in Vikhroli East. If you’ve ever been on the Eastern Express Highway, you know how busy it gets around here. Our spot at the Hbot Centre isn’t some shiny glass office like you see in the movies; it’s a working place where things happen every single day. Most mornings start with the sound of traffic and us getting the rooms ready. We’ve got some old chairs in the waiting area that have seen better days, but they’re comfortable enough. People come in from all over the neighborhood, some walking and some stuck in those long highway jams. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate thing. It’s mostly just us, the nurses, and the doctors trying to keep things organized. The lighting is a bit bright, and there’s always the hum of the machines in the background. We know the tea seller nearby pretty well by now. It’s just a normal hospital life. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. When we aren't busy with patients, we’re usually just catching up on paperwork or talking about what to have for lunch. It’s honest work in a busy part of Mumbai. We’ve been at this address for a bit, so we know the shortcuts around the building and which elevators are the fastest. It’s just home to us. It is a bit loud but we are used to it.
