We spend most of our time here at Midc Road No 7 in Bhim Nagar. It’s busy around Andheri East, especially near the Amarpura Co Operative Society. The shop is filled with stacks of paper and the constant hum of the offset machines. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, but we just keep wiping down the counters. Most mornings start with checking the ink levels and making sure we have enough staples and pens for whoever walks in. It’s not a fancy place. We’ve got shelves that have been here for years, sagging a bit under the weight of notebooks and ledger books. People come in for small print jobs or just to grab a few envelopes. It gets loud when the big printers are running, so we usually have to raise our voices to hear each other. The traffic outside on the road is always moving. We mostly just focus on getting the work done so people can get back to their offices. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. Cutting paper, binding things, and making sure the colors look okay on the page. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us here. If the power goes out, we just wait it out and have some tea. That's pretty much how it goes every day in this part of Chandlodia. We stay until the last order is boxed up and ready for pickup tomorrow.
