We spend a lot of time in our office at Devkrupa Building. It's right opposite Devi Cinema on the fourth floor at number 402. Most days are just about coordinating trucks and making sure the drivers know exactly where they are supposed to go. Naroda is a very busy spot for this kind of work. We started out small and just stayed here in the same building. The office isn't fancy at all, just some old desks, chairs, and phones that never stop ringing. Sometimes the traffic noise from the street makes it hard to hear anything. We handle a lot of different loads throughout the week. People come in to drop off their paperwork or ask about the current rates. It’s mostly just making sure things get from one place to another without too much trouble. My desk is usually covered in receipts and logbooks. We’ve seen this area change quite a bit over the years. The cinema across the road is a really good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We don't do much fancy advertising, we just do the work and keep everything moving. Dealing with logistics means things go wrong sometimes, like a flat tire or a late delivery, but we just deal with it as it comes. It's a lot of phone calls back and forth. We stay open pretty late some days if a truck is coming in from a long haul. It's simple work but it keeps us busy.
