Global Hospital

You can find us at 35 Dr. E Borges Road, right across from Shirodkar High School. Being in Parel, especially on Hospital Avenue, means we are right in the thick of things. Mumbai is never quiet, and this part of town is especially loud with all the schools and other buildings nearby. We have been here for a long time. The building itself is older, and you can tell if you look at the corners or the flooring, but we keep it functional. We are just a few minutes away from the main road, so we get a lot of people walking in. It’s a hospital, so it’s always got that specific smell and people rushing around with clipboards. We don't have a fancy lobby with sofas. We just have rows of plastic chairs where people wait their turn. Sometimes the wait is long, and we know that’s frustrating, but we try to get to everyone. The doctors here have seen just about everything over the years. We get a real mix of people because of the Parel location. Rich, poor, and everyone in between comes through that front door. We don't make a big deal out of it; we just treat whoever is standing in front of us. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but that’s just Mumbai life for you. We keep the machines running and the doors open, and we do our part for the folks on E Borges Road.
