Our spot is located in the Ambedkar Co Operative Housing Society on Dr Ambedkar Road. If you know the Sarvodaya Video Centre, we are just right across from it. It’s an interesting part of Palli Hill. We handle things related to beauty and fashion here. The space isn’t huge, but we’ve made it work for us over the years. There’s always someone coming in or out, and the bell on the door rings more often than you’d think. We spend a lot of time organizing the products on the shelves and making sure everything looks halfway decent. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes, especially when multiple people arrive at once. The light coming through the front window is nice in the afternoons, though it gets a bit warm. We don't have a big team of people, just a few of us who know the regulars. We talk about the weather or the traffic on Ambedkar Road while we work. It’s a very local feel, not like those big chains you see in the malls. We’ve got our own way of doing things, and it might seem a bit slow to some, but we prefer it that way. It’s just a regular shop in a busy society, trying to keep up with the day-to-day tasks without making too much of a fuss. We usually close up when the sun goes down and head home like everyone else in the building.
