Our printing shop is based in Girgaon, inside the Swamikrupa Building on Moul Lane. We are in the Dev Darshan part of the building. It is one of those old Mumbai neighborhoods where the lanes are narrow and everything is close together. We have been doing printing work here for a long time. Our space is filled with the sound of machines and the smell of fresh ink, which is something we are very used to. We handle all kinds of local jobs, like printing invitations or small booklets for people in the area. It is not a high-tech setup with fancy computers. We still use a lot of older methods because they work well for what we do. My family has been in this business for years, and we just keep it going. Sometimes the machines are loud and the shop gets very hot, but we just keep working. We know most of the people who live on this lane. It is a simple business where people come in, tell us what they need on paper, and we try to get it done for them by the next day. We don't do much to promote ourselves; most people just know we are here. It is honest, hard work and we take pride in seeing the finished pages come off the press. It keeps us busy from morning until late in the evening.
