Giri Logistic

Giri Logistic is tucked away in Gurunanak Estate at Unit No 2. We are situated behind the main part of Andheri East. It’s an industrial kind of area with lots of warehouses and trucks moving in and out. Our space is mostly for managing the loads and talking to the drivers. It’s dusty and noisy, which is just how logistics goes. We spend a lot of time checking the cargo and making sure it gets loaded correctly. It’s not a fancy office. We have some wooden chairs and a lot of clipboards. The trucks come in at all hours, so someone is usually here. We handle a lot of different goods, from small boxes to big crates. The estate gets pretty crowded, so parking the big rigs is always a bit of a puzzle. We’ve been operating from this unit for several years now. We know the other guys in the estate. We don't do much advertising. People just know we are the ones behind Andheri East who handle the transport stuff. It’s hard work and the days are long. We just make sure the deliveries go out and the drivers have their papers ready. It’s a simple operation but it keeps us busy from morning till night. We keep the kettle on for the drivers and make sure the logs are signed correctly.
