We’ve been here at Girgaon for a while now. Our office sits in the Old Mumbadevi Company Operative Housing Society on Khadilkar Road, which is always busy. People from around Sathye Marg stop by to ask about train tickets or bus timings. It’s not a fancy setup, just a few desks and some chairs where you can sit while we check the computer. Usually, there’s a lot of noise from the street outside, but we’re used to it. Managing travel plans for folks in the neighborhood is what fills our days. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait, or the customer wants to change their dates three times. We just handle it. Most of the people who come here are neighbors or friends of friends. We don’t do much advertising because everyone knows the address. We deal with passports, visas, and just general bookings. It’s a small space, but we keep it organized. Usually, someone is drinking tea and talking about the weather while waiting for a printout. The building itself is quite old and has that specific Mumbai character to it. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure people get where they need to go without too much trouble. It gets crowded in the evenings when everyone is off work, but we manage to get through the pile of paperwork eventually. That’s just how things go here in Girgaon every single day.
