We are located at Plot No. 104 on the 1st Floor of Venkatesh Chambers. Ashok Alco - Cem Ltd. has been operating from this spot for a while now. The building is one of those typical office blocks. It has a bit of a lived-in feel. Our office on the first floor is where we handle all the administrative work. It’s not a factory or a shop floor. It’s desks, files, and computers. We deal with a lot of logistics and supply chain stuff. There are stacks of files from years ago in the cabinets. We don't throw much away. The atmosphere is pretty casual. We wear regular clothes. No suits here. The windows look out onto the street. You can see people going about their business. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the monthly accounts. The coffee machine is old but it still works most of the time. We get a lot of mail delivered every morning. Sorting through it takes up the first hour. We know the security guards at the entrance of the chambers. They've been here as long as we have. It’s a steady routine. We don’t have big meetings. We just talk across the desks. If someone needs something, they just ask. It’s a simple way of working. No one makes a fuss about things. We just do our jobs and go home at the end of the day. It works for us and keeps things moving.
