Gerad (India) Pvt. Ltd. is based in B-16, Sant Nivriti Building, located in Goregaon East, Mumbai. Goregaon is one of those suburbs that never seems to sleep, and East is particularly packed with people and traffic. Our building, Sant Nivriti, is a bit of an older one, so it has that lived-in Mumbai character. We are in unit B-16, which is a fairly standard office space. It’s not one of those new glass towers you see over in Aarey or near the highway. We’ve been here for years, and the walls have seen a lot of work come and go. The walk from the station can be a bit of a scramble during peak hours, but that’s just how it is in this city. Inside the office, things are kept pretty functional. We have our files, our computers, and a small area for making tea or heating up lunch. The windows look out over the street, so there’s always something to see, even if it’s just the usual Mumbai bustle. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is in, but it’s a good kind of busy. We don't go in for fancy decorations or expensive office furniture. We just need a place that works, and this spot in Goregaon does the job for us. It’s central enough for everyone to reach and it keeps us right in the middle of the action. We just show up and do what we need to do to get things done.
