Geets Salon

Geets Salon is tucked away in Shop No 12 of the Cliston Building. If you know Andheri West well, you probably know Oberio Lane. We are right there, behind Sabri Restaurant. It’s a good little spot for us. We’ve been running things here for some time now. It’s mostly hair cutting and basic beauty work that keeps us busy through the day. People from the nearby apartments usually drop by when they have a free hour. We don’t do a lot of shouting about what we do. We just open up the shutters, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer to arrive. It is a small shop but it works for us. The lane can get a bit tight with traffic sometimes, but once you’re inside, it’s alright. My team and I have been working together for a bit. We know how to handle different types of hair. It isn't a high-pressure place at all. We talk to the neighbors and keep things friendly. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for the next person to walk in. Being behind the restaurant means we get some of that smell of food throughout the day. It’s a very local vibe. We didn’t want to be in a big mall or a flashy street. This feels more like a community. We just do the work, collect the money, and go home at the end of the shift. That is pretty much our story and how we spend our days.
