Gebi Engeneering

Gebi Engeneering is out in Dahisar East, specifically at D 22 in Mini Nagar. Our workshop is on S N Dube Road in the Rawalpada area. It’s a typical engineering shop where there is always some kind of metalwork happening. We have benches covered in tools, and there are often scraps of iron or steel on the floor. The walls are a bit stained from the oil and the dust that comes with this kind of work. It gets quite loud when the cutting machines or drills are running. S N Dube Road is a busy street, so there’s a constant hum of traffic from outside. We don’t have a fancy reception area; people just walk into the shop and talk to whoever isn't busy. It’s a gritty place and it gets hot during the summer months. We mostly do repairs and make specific parts that people need for their machinery. Our clothes are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift, but that's just part of the job. Rawalpada is a crowded neighborhood, and we’ve become a small part of the local scenery here. We keep our own hours and just focus on the task at hand. There is no corporate feeling here at all, just a group of people working with their hands to get things built or fixed.
