Gautam International Clothing

You can find us on the third floor of Makhija Chambers. It’s right there on Turner Road in Bandra. Being in Mumbai, things are always moving fast around here. Gautam International Clothing isn't a massive operation, even if the name sounds big. We’re just a group of people working in an office space, surrounded by samples and shipping boxes. The elevator in this building can be a bit slow sometimes, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. It’s a lot of phone calls, checking on shipments, and making sure the garments look the way they should before they go out. Bandra is a lively area, so there’s always something going on outside our windows. We don’t have any flashy showrooms for people to walk through. Most of the space is taken up by racks of clothes and desks piled with paperwork. It gets a bit messy when a new season starts, but we eventually find the floor again. We’ve been at 196 Turner Road for a while now, and the local shops nearby are where we usually grab a quick lunch. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just handle the clothing business day by day. It’s practical work. Sometimes things go smooth, and sometimes there’s a delay at the port or a mistake in a sample, but we just deal with it and move on to the next task on the list.
