Garware Chemicals Ltd operates out of the Atlas Mill Compound on V Chandan Street. If you go to Room No 8-A in the Ramkrupa building, that’s where you’ll find our main spot. Vadgadi is a hectic place, full of narrow lanes and people moving goods around on handcarts. It feels like the old heart of the trading district. Our office is small and packed with ledgers and sample bottles. It’s not the kind of place where you’d expect a big company, but we’ve been in this compound for quite a while. The walls are a bit faded, and the overhead lights hum a little, but it suits us fine. We deal with various chemical supplies that go out to different manufacturers. Most of our day is spent coordinating with transporters and making sure the right crates get to the right trucks. It’s a lot of phone calls and quick chats with people passing by the door. The atmosphere in Vadgadi is unique; you can smell the spices and the chemicals mixing in the air. We don't have much in the way of decoration, maybe just a calendar on the wall and some old photos. It’s a working office through and through. The neighbors are all doing similar stuff, so there’s a sense of everyone just trying to earn their living. We stick to our schedule and try to keep things organized in a place that’s naturally a bit chaotic and loud. It’s just how we work here.
