Gajanan Cards

We’ve been here at Shop No 183 in Ram Girgaon for a while now. It’s a ground floor spot, which makes things easier when people are dropping by to look at paper samples or check on how their orders are coming along. The shop isn't very huge, but we keep it organized enough to get the actual work done. Mostly, we spend our days dealing with card stocks, different types of ink, and making sure the printing machine is behaving itself. Girgaon is a busy place, so there’s always something happening right outside the door. Sometimes people come in with a very clear idea of what they want for their wedding or event, and other times they just want to see what we have on the shelves. We don't do anything fancy here, just straightforward printing and card work. My desk is usually covered in offcuts and samples, but that’s just how a workspace looks when you’re actually doing things. It gets a bit noisy during the peak hours when the street outside is full of traffic and people, but we’re used to it. If you’re walking around Ram Girgaon, you’ll find us easily enough. We keep the doors open most of the day unless the dust gets too bad. It’s just me and a couple of others handling the stuff. We don't use big computers for everything, a lot of it is just manual checking and making sure the names are spelled right on the cards. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy.
