G T B Carriers operates out of 16/B in Antop Hill. It’s an older building, but it’s where we’ve set up shop to handle all the transport work we do. Moving goods from one place to another is a lot of logistics and talking to drivers, and that’s basically what we spend our whole day doing. The office isn't much to look at, just some desks and a lot of paperwork piled up on the shelves. We deal with trucks and deliveries all across the region. Antop Hill is a good spot for us because we can get to different parts of the city relatively easily, depending on the time of day and the traffic. We started with just a couple of vehicles and over the years it turned into a full-time operation for the whole family. It's a loud business with the trucks coming and going, but we like the pace of it. We don't use big fancy advertisements or social media. Most of our clients are other local businesses who have been working with us for years. They know if they call, we’ll get the job done without any fuss. Sometimes the roads are bad or there are delays at the checkpoints, but we always try to keep things moving. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights making sure the cargo gets where it needs to be. We just focus on the work and keeping the trucks on the road.
