G P Patel & Company is located in Ghatkopar West. Specifically, we are at 101 in the Rajpath Society, which is part of Kothari Niwas. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main station road. We’ve been part of this society for years. The office is really just a converted space where we keep our ledgers and documents. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe. We still use a lot of paper and the shelves are pretty full. My name is on the door, but it’s a team effort here. We deal with a lot of regular clients who have been coming to us since we first opened. In a place like Ghatkopar, people value knowing who they are dealing with. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the mornings are slow, giving us time to catch up on filing, and then the afternoons get really hectic with people dropping by. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the piles of paper get a bit high. It’s a local business in every sense of the word. We know the neighbors and they know us. We aren't looking to expand into some giant firm. We just want to keep doing what we do right here in Kothari Niwas. It’s a steady life and we like it.
