Frigmaires International

Frigmaires International is located in the Janata Industrial Estate, which is right on Senapati Bapat Marg. It’s a busy spot, especially being opposite Phoenix Mill where everyone goes for shopping now. Our unit is Lower Unit No. 8 and we’ve been here since long before the big malls moved in. The P. O. Box 16353 address is what we use for a lot of our mail. It’s an old industrial building with thick walls and that specific smell of metal and oil. We spend our days dealing with various types of machinery and parts that go into industrial setups. The traffic on the main road is almost always jammed, so we usually just stay put inside the estate. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on different projects or checking over the equipment before it goes out. There is no air conditioning in the main work area, just big fans that move the air around. We have a small office section where the phone rings more often than we’d like. It’s a bit of a maze getting through the estate sometimes because of all the different businesses packed together. It's a lot of manual work and we don't have a big marketing team or anything. We just rely on the fact that we've been in this spot for so long that people know where to find us. We know the security guards and the guys at the other units pretty well. It’s just a regular workplace.
