Frankwell Spares

We are located at Kandivali JSS Road 68 and we deal with all kinds of spare parts for machinery and vehicles. The shop is quite old and the shelves are made of heavy wood that has darkened over the years. You can smell the metal and the preservative oil as soon as you walk in the door. We have thousands of different items tucked away in little drawers and bins. Finding the right part sometimes takes a bit of time because our filing system is mostly kept in our heads. It is a very hands-on job where we spend a lot of time measuring things with calipers to make sure the fit is right. JSS Road is a hectic place with lots of small businesses like ours. We have a big heavy door that we keep open most of the time to let the air in. The floor is concrete and has some cracks in it from dropping heavy gear over the decades. We don't do any big advertising or have a sales team. People just come to us when they can't find a specific bolt or a gasket anywhere else in the city. We have a small back room where we keep the really old stuff that nobody uses much anymore but we keep it anyway. It is a slow and steady kind of business. We take pride in just knowing what a part is just by looking at the shape.
