Fortune Modular Furniture Sys. is located in the Haveliwala Building. We are at 221 Bora Bazar Street. If you have ever walked through Bora Bazar, you know how narrow the lanes are. It is one of those old Mumbai neighborhoods where everything is stacked on top of each other. Our space is in a building that has seen a lot of history. We handle modular furniture, which is funny because the building itself is anything but modular. It is old and has a lot of character. We spend our time figuring out how to fit modern furniture into various spaces. The street outside is always a chaotic mess of delivery carts and people. We have to time our deliveries carefully or the trucks get stuck in the lane. It is a bit of a puzzle every day. We do not have a big glossy brochure. We just show people what we can do with the space they have. Bora Bazar is a noisy place, but we like the energy. Being in the Haveliwala Building feels like being part of the old city. We are not a giant factory. We are a specialized shop. We do not use fancy marketing talk. We just talk to you about what you need for your house. Most of the time, we are just busy sketching out designs or checking the inventory. That is just life for us here on Bora Bazar Street.
