Fortis Hospital

Fortis Hospital is located right on the Goregon Link Road in Mulund. If you have ever driven through here, you know how that road can be. It is always busy with cars and trucks, especially during the rush hour. We are right in the middle of all that movement. Being on the Link Road means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through and others live right around the corner. The building is right there where you can't miss it. It’s a bit loud outside with all the honking, but inside we try to keep things as orderly as possible. It is a big operation and there are always things moving. We have different floors for different things, and sometimes the elevators take a minute because they are so busy. We don’t really go for the polished corporate look. It’s more about being functional. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between departments. We know the local tea stall guy pretty well because he’s right outside. Most of the people working here have been around for years. We know the shortcuts to avoid the worst traffic on the way in. It’s just a regular part of Mulund life for us. We do our work, deal with the noise of the Link Road, and keep things going day after day. It is a busy life but it is our life.
