Choice Jewelers

Our shop is on Modi Street, number 234, right in the Fort area. It’s an old part of town with a lot of character, and sometimes the traffic is a real headache. We’ve been at this spot for some time. Choice Jewelers is where we spend most of our waking hours. The street outside is usually crowded with people heading to the station or grabbing lunch. We keep the doors open and see what the day brings. It’s not a huge place, just a regular shop with some counters and enough light to see what we are doing. We do a bit of everything here, from small repairs to showing people what we have in the cases. People often stop in just to ask for directions or because they saw something in the window. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It's just us. Sometimes the tea guy comes by twice a day, and that's when we take a break. The building has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and it’s where we belong. We don't bother with fancy slogans. If you're walking down towards the docks or the offices in Fort, you'll find us. We keep things pretty simple. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting for customers sometimes, and then suddenly three people walk in at once. That's just how it goes on Modi Street. We just stay here and do our work until the day is done and we close the shutters.
