Flying Green Carriers

At Flying Green Carriers, we’ve been operating out of 34 Masjid Bunder Road, right where it meets LBS Marg. This area is always moving, and if you stay in one spot too long, you’ll probably get bumped by a cart or a laborer carrying a heavy load. Our space is practical and mostly filled with clipboards and logs of all the stuff moving through the city. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to people about their parcels and checking on the traffic situation on LBS Marg, which is usually a headache. It’s a simple setup here. We don't have fancy air conditioning or leather chairs, just a few fans that spin fast and a lot of shelves. The noise from the street comes right in, so you have to talk a bit louder to be heard. We handle the moving of goods for people who just want their stuff to arrive when they expect it. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes a bit of luck with the city traffic. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but the work stays mostly the same. Every morning starts with a pile of papers and ends with a lot of crossed-off lists. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do best in this corner of the market. There is always someone coming in to drop something off.
