Finger Prints

Finger Prints is located on the first floor of B Wing, Flat No 4, on Centre Street in Santacruz East. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned building, and you have to walk up the stairs to find us. The space is a mix of a workshop and a small office. We have different machines for printing and some computers for the design work. It’s usually a bit messy because we always have multiple projects going on at the same time. There are paper samples, ink bottles, and test prints scattered all over the tables. We don’t have any formal reception area or a person in a suit greeting you at the door. Usually, whoever is closest to the entrance will look up from what they’re doing and say hello. We aren't interested in using a lot of fancy marketing words. We just want to do a decent job on the projects people bring to us. Whether it’s a few photocopies or a bigger design task, we handle it the same way. Sometimes we get a bit behind schedule when a machine needs maintenance, but we always try to be honest about it. Santacruz East is a lively neighborhood, and being on Centre Street means we see a lot of people passing by. It’s a small, local business and we try to keep things as uncomplicated as possible for everyone who walks through the door, even when the office gets a bit too warm in the summer.
