Felicity Salons

If you know Chinchpokli, you probably know where Meru Tower is on Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Road. That’s where Felicity Salons is, at Shop Number 3. We are quite close to the Mukta A2 Cinema, so on weekends, the whole street gets very lively with people going to the movies. Our shop is a straightforward place. We handle haircuts, shaving, and whatever else people need to look presentable. It’s a small shop, but it stays busy because of the location. Living and working in Mumbai means you’re always dealing with the noise of the traffic, and Ambedkar Road is no exception. We start our day early and usually stay until the last customer is done in the evening. There isn't any fancy decor here, just the chairs and the equipment we use every day. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name because they’ve been coming to us for years. It’s a neighborhood spot. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult in the monsoon, and the shop gets a bit damp, but we keep the towels dry and the scissors sharp. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been in Meru Tower for a while and people know we’re here, right near the cinema.
