Favava General Store

Working near the cigarette factory in Chakala means there is always a lot of activity. Favava General Store sits right in that flow of people. We get workers from the factory, people living in the apartments nearby, and folks just passing through. The area is always a bit dusty and loud, but that is just part of being in this part of town. Our store is small, but we try to cram in as much as possible. You might find a bit of everything if you look hard enough. We carry the basics like toiletries, batteries, and plenty of snacks. The morning rush is the hardest part of the day because everyone is in a hurry to get to work. We have to be quick with the change then. Later on, it gets a bit slower, and we can actually talk to the regulars. Sometimes we run out of space on the shelves, so you might see boxes sitting on the floor for a bit. It is not a perfect setup, but it works for us and the people who shop here. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us keeping things moving. We have been in Chakala for a while and have seen the buildings change around us. The store stays pretty much the same, just a reliable place for the basics. We keep things going from early morning until the factory shifts end.
