Our office is on the second floor of Hari Om Market, right on Masjid Bunder Road. This area is one of the busiest parts of the city for trade, and we are right in the middle of it. Fast Track Shipping & Logistics Services isn't a giant company with thousands of employees. We are a small group of people working out of a crowded office near the Ring Road. There are always piles of papers on the desks and the sound of the market coming through the windows. We spend our days tracking shipments, talking to customs people, and making sure the lorries are loaded correctly. Masjid Bunder is a tough place to navigate, but we know the shortcuts and how to get things moved through the narrow streets. Our space isn't fancy at all. We have some old wooden desks and a few fans to keep the air moving during the summer heat. We don't use a lot of fancy words or complicated systems. It’s mostly just about knowing who to call and making sure the paperwork is in order so nothing gets stuck at the port. Sometimes things go wrong or a delivery gets delayed, and we just have to stay late to fix it. We aren't doing anything groundbreaking, just the everyday work of moving goods from one place to another for local traders who need their stuff to arrive on time.
