Fancy Embroideries

So, this is Fancy Embroideries. We operate out of Colaba, right at Po 15 in Cusrow Baug, near the Electric House. If you have been to this part of Mumbai, you know the vibe. It is a bit old-fashioned and has that specific feel to it. We spend most of our time working with threads and fabrics. It is not some fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things done. We have different kinds of embroidery work going on all the time. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with all the scraps of cloth and loose threads on the floor, but that is just part of the job. Being near the Electric House makes it easy for people to find us if they are in the area. We have been in Colaba for quite some time now. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy quite well. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads. We do not really do much advertising. People usually just find us by word of mouth or by walking past the building. We just focus on the stitching and making sure the patterns look okay. It is a lot of sitting and looking closely at small details. My eyes get tired sometimes by the end of the day. But we like what we do here. It is just regular work for us every day.
