We are down at 85 Kalbadevi on Babu Genu Road. Our shop is in the Mimraj Building on the ground floor. Being on the ground floor is a blessing because we do not have to deal with stairs or lifts when we are moving boxes in and out. Kalbadevi is one of those places that never seems to sleep. There are people everywhere and the noise from the street is just part of the background now. We have been at this address for a long time. Babu Genu Road is always packed with traders and shoppers. Mimraj Building is an old one, but it is sturdy enough for our needs. We focus on surgical supplies here. It is a lot of inventory to keep track of every day. The ground floor space is decent, but we still manage to fill every corner with stock. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the traffic passing by outside. We just keep the place as tidy as we can given the circumstances. It is a lot of standing and moving things around. We do not use any fancy marketing tricks to get people in. People find us because they know the building or they have been coming to us for years. It is a traditional way of doing business, I suppose. We like the local feel of Kalbadevi despite the crowds.
