F Tek Auto Engineering

We’ve been running F Tek Auto Engineering on Mahim Avenue Road for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always grease on someone’s hands here. People bring their cars or parts in when things aren't working right. We spend most of the day looking under hoods or messing with lathes. It’s loud, and the floor is never really clean, no matter how much we sweep. Mahim Avenue Road gets crowded, especially in the afternoons, so sometimes it's hard to park right outside the shop. We just handle the mechanical stuff that comes through the door. Some days it’s engines, other days it’s just small parts that need fixing up. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Most people just stand around and talk while we work. It’s just us here, doing what needs to be done with the tools we have. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a bolt is stuck or a part is hard to find. That’s just how it goes with auto engineering. We’ve lived around here for years, so we know the neighbors. If you walk down Mahim Avenue Road, you’ll probably hear the noise from our shop before you see the sign. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do every day. We open early and stay until the work is finished. It’s hard work, but we like it. The smell of oil and metal is just something you get used to after a few years. We have a few old stools where friends sit to have a cup of tea while we finish up their repairs. It's not a place for someone who's afraid of getting their clothes dirty. We've been at this address on Mahim Avenue Road since we started out, and we don't plan on moving anywhere else.
