You can find us at 501 in The Summit Business Bay, right on Andheri Kurla Road. Being in Andheri East means we are in one of the busiest parts of Mumbai. The noise from the traffic outside is constant, but we’re used to it by now. In this office, we focus on our fresh food business, which mostly means snacks like namkeen and chips. It’s a pretty lively place. We are always tasting something from the factory to make sure the spices are exactly right. Our desks are often covered in half-eaten packets and notes about flavor profiles. We don't have a big corporate hierarchy; we just talk to each other and get things done. Most of us take the local train or deal with the heavy traffic to get here every day, so we’re all in the same boat. We started this because we wanted to make snacks that people would actually enjoy at home. There’s no marketing fluff here, just people who care about how the food tastes. Sometimes we have long days when we’re trying to figure out a new recipe or when a big order needs to go out. The building is modern, but our office feels more like a workshop. We spend a lot of time on the phone with retailers and looking at sales numbers. It’s a lot of work to keep things moving in such a competitive market, but we just keep at it.
