Essar Projects Ltd.

We are based at Essar Projects Ltd. over in Kurla West. Our office is inside the Equinox Business Park, specifically in the Tenein Sula Techno Park area on Lbs Marg. It’s a busy part of Mumbai. There is always a lot of activity in the business park with people coming and going. We work on various projects that keep us occupied from morning until evening. It’s mostly about coordination and making sure all the pieces fit together. We have a lot of computers and desks, and the coffee machine gets a workout every day. Lbs Marg can be a nightmare for traffic, so most of us try to get in early. It’s not a fancy life, even if we are in a techno park. It’s just work. We talk to people on site and deal with vendors all day long. Sometimes the emails pile up faster than we can read them. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing. We just talk like regular people and try to solve problems as they come up. It’s a lot of logistics and planning. Most of the time, we’re just focusing on the next deadline. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the local food stalls pretty well. That’s where you’ll find us during lunch. It’s a busy life but it’s what we do. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
