Esic Model Hospital

Our hospital is located in Andheri East. Being in this part of Mumbai means it’s always fast-paced. Esic Model Hospital is right in the middle of it all. The streets around us are constantly moving with people and vehicles. Inside the hospital, it’s not much different. We have a high volume of people coming in for all sorts of things. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the demand. The staff here is used to the noise and the rush. We just get on with our tasks. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in every visit, and we spend a good chunk of our day at our desks or moving between floors. The building is large and can be a bit confusing if you’re new, so we spend time pointing people in the right direction. We don't have a lot of frills. It’s a government-run place, so things are done by the book. It’s not always the quickest process, but we try to be steady. We see everyone from young kids to the elderly. Every day brings something new, even if the routine stays the same. We drink our tea in the canteen and talk about the day. It’s just a regular life for us working here in Andheri. We handle the crowds as best as we can and try to keep the lobby from getting too messy throughout the afternoon.
