Our office is tucked away at 16A/2, Hanuman Terrace. It’s right on Tara Temple Lane, which connects over to Lamington Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a tight spot with a lot of history. Emaar Impex Pvt. Ltd. is basically us working out of this space, dealing with import and export stuff. Lamington Road is usually packed with people looking for electronics, but we’re more focused on our own trade things. The building, Hanuman Terrace, has that old feel to it, and our unit is just a practical space where we get the work done. There’s a lot of checking manifests and making sure shipments are lined up correctly. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by delivery trucks, so we have to work around that. It’s not a corporate skyscraper or anything; it’s a real place with real noise from the street. We’ve got a small crew here, and we mostly just stick to our tasks. The days go by fast when you’re tracking goods and talking to suppliers. We don’t use any fancy systems, just the usual stuff to keep things moving. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and samples, but it works for us. We’ve been in this part of town for a while and like the pace of it. It is just how we do business in this neighborhood.
