Elphinstone Hotel Annexe

Elphinstone Hotel Annexe is located over in Masjid Bunder West. We are on the first floor of Sai Nivas, right across from the Canara Bank. If you know Mumbai, you know how packed and busy Masjid Bunder is. The 1st Main Road in Saraswathipuram is always full of people and goods moving around the markets. Our place is at number 149 in J S Nagar. It is an old part of the city, and the building reflects that history. We do not have elevators or big fancy signs. You just walk up the stairs to find us. Mostly, we get people who are in town for business in the wholesale markets nearby. They need a place that is close to the railway station and the shops. The rooms are small and basic, which is typical for this area of town. We try to keep the noise of the street out as much as possible, but Masjid Bunder never really sleeps. Our staff has been working here for years. We know the local chai walas and the best spots to grab a quick snack on the street. It is a simple lodging house for people who do not want to spend a lot of money. We do not offer much more than a bed and a roof over your head. It is just a practical spot in a very busy neighborhood. People come, stay for a night, and go.
