Elite Roadways Pvt Ltd has its office at 222/223 in Corporate Avenue, Goregaon East. It is a busy spot in Mumbai and we spend most of our time on the phones talking to drivers or checking where the trucks are. It gets pretty loud in here when everyone is working at once. The building is okay, just a typical space for this part of the city. We have been operating from this office for a while now. Dealing with roads and transport isn't always easy, especially with the traffic and weather issues that pop up. Sometimes things get delayed and we just have to figure it out as we go. It is mostly regular office work, spreadsheets, and logistics planning. We see a lot of people coming in and out of the corporate park every day. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually take our breaks when things get too hectic. It is nothing fancy, just a place where we get the job done. Sometimes the elevators are slow so we wait around a lot. We try to keep things moving as much as we can. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know how each other works. There is a lot of paperwork too, making sure all the permits are in order before a truck leaves. We do not really do much marketing; people just know we are here in Goregaon. It is a practical setup for us.
