Elevator And Escalator Safety Trust

Our setup is in A403, Eden IV, which is part of the Hiranandani Gardens in Powai. It is a bit different from a factory floor since we are up in a building. The view out the window shows a lot of the greenery and the neat streets that Powai is known for. Being in Eden IV means we have a bit more of a quiet environment compared to the industrial estates, though the elevators in the building are always busy with people coming and going. The office itself is full of paperwork and manuals related to safety standards. We have a couple of old computers and some desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. It is not a very large space, but it fits what we need to do. Most of the day is spent going through files or talking on the phone about various safety checks. We don't have a lot of walk-in visitors, so it stays relatively calm inside. There are plenty of cafes and shops nearby in Hiranandani, so grabbing a quick coffee or lunch is easy enough. Sometimes we sit on the benches outside for a few minutes just to get some air. The trust has been operating from this apartment-style office for a while now, and it has a very lived-in feel with various posters and notices pinned to the walls. We just focus on the safety aspect of things, making sure everything is documented as it should be.
