Our business, which covers both Elektrumek Engg. Enterprise and Khemka Spline Gauges P. Ltd., is based at 120 Gurunank Udyog Bhavan on LBS Marg in Bhandup West. LBS Marg is always packed with vehicles and other workshops, so we fit right in with the industrial feel of the neighborhood. The Udyog Bhavan is an older building, but it has plenty of character and serves its purpose for our engineering work. Inside our unit, we have the tools and gauges we need to get through the day's tasks. We aren't a corporate giant with a glass lobby; we are a working shop where people are actually making and measuring things. Most of the time you’ll find us hunched over a workbench or checking some drawings. It can get pretty loud with all the other units in the building working at the same time, but we don't mind. We’ve been in Bhandup for a long time and we know the local suppliers and other business owners around here. It’s a decent community where everyone is just trying to get their work done. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or big ads. We just focus on the gauges and engineering parts that come across our desks. Every day is a bit different depending on what the customers need, but we keep our heads down and stay on it. It’s just how we do things here in the unit.
