The workshop is located over at D-9 in the Ansu Industrial Estate. If you know Saki Naka, you know how the traffic gets on Saki Vihar Road, so we usually get in early to beat the worst of it. We’ve been operating out of this unit for years. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise from the other shops and trucks loading things up nearby. We handle a lot of electrical components and general parts that people need for their machines. It isn't a showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly boxes, shelves filled with connectors, and the smell of solder. We spend most of the day sorting through orders or testing bits of equipment that come through the door. Sometimes the lights flicker when the heavy machinery next door starts up, but we’re used to it by now. Being in Andheri East means we are right in the middle of everything, which helps when we need to get things shipped out. The space is a bit cramped because we keep a lot of stock on hand, but we know where everything is. It’s just how it goes when you’ve been in the same spot for a long time. We drink a lot of tea and just keep working through the list of tasks for the day. It’s practical work for people who need their electrical stuff to just work without any fuss or complications. We just keep our heads down and do the job.
