Electra

Our place is on the ground floor and the second floor of the Ghanshyam Industrial Estate. It’s number 45 and 31. Being in Andheri West on Veera Desai Road means there is always something going on outside. The estate is old, and you can hear the other workshops through the walls. We called the business Electra, which covers a lot of what we do. It’s mostly electrical components and bits and pieces. On the ground floor, we have the heavier stuff, and upstairs is more for the paperwork and smaller items. It’s a lot of stairs to climb every day, which keeps us moving. We aren't a big corporation. It's just a small team of us working through the orders as they come in. Some days it is quiet, and other days we can't see the floor for all the boxes. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you walk in, you’re likely to walk straight into one of us holding a screwdriver or a clipboard. We've been in this industrial estate for a good bit now. Everyone around here knows each other. We just handle the electrical parts and try to stay out of the rain when the monsoon hits. It’s a simple setup, really. We do the work, lock up, and head home like everyone else on this road. No big secrets or special tricks, just regular daily work. We aren't looking to change the world, just to finish the day's tasks.
