Eie Instruments

Our place is in Santacruz West, located on Podar Road in the Paresh CHS building, room 603. We are right in the Jddgah line dhake colony area. It is a bit unusual because we are inside a residential society, which makes it feel much more personal than a standard industrial park. We work with various types of instruments, so our space is filled with glass cases, calibration tools, and lots of small delicate parts. You have to be careful where you step because there might be a sensitive piece of equipment being tested on a bench. The light in the office is bright so we can see the fine details of what we are working on. Outside, Podar Road is usually packed with cars and people going to the nearby markets. We get the sounds of the city coming in through the windows, but we are mostly focused on the precision work at hand. Since we are in a cooperative housing society, we have to be mindful of our neighbors and keep the noise down. It is a quiet, steady kind of work. We have been operating out of this Santacruz location for quite a while, and the local shopkeepers all know us. We don't have a big corporate sign, just a small nameplate. It is a simple operation run by a few people who enjoy the technical side of instruments. We usually drink our tea while looking out at the traffic.
