Prime Tools & Dies is tucked away in the Marol Co-Op Industrial Area. Specifically, we're at C-204 in Gokul Industrial Estate. If you’ve ever been to Sag Baug in Andheri East, you know the roads can be a bit of a mess with all the trucks. Our workshop is where we spend most of our lives. It’s full of heavy metal and the smell of cutting oil. We make tools and dies, which is basically just precise metal work. It’s dirty and the floors are never really clean for long. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. It’s just a few guys who know how to handle the machines. When a job comes in, we focus on the measurements. If they're off by even a tiny bit, the whole thing is useless. That’s the stress of it. We take our breaks when we can. Usually, there’s a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. The building itself is older, and sometimes the lift acts up, so we end up carrying things up. We aren't a corporate giant. We’re just a small unit trying to stay busy. Most of our clients are other factories nearby that need parts. We don’t spend money on fancy signs. Just a simple board at the door. It’s practical work for people who need things made out of steel. We just keep our heads down and finish the jobs.
