Working out of Andheri Industrial Estate has its quirks, that's for sure. We are located at unit 129, which is just off Veera Desai Road. If you’ve ever tried to drive down this way in the afternoon, you know exactly how the traffic can be. It’s a lot of trucks and small vans moving goods in and out all day long. Our space is tucked in among a whole bunch of other businesses, so it’s never really quiet here. You can usually hear the sounds of machinery or people calling out to each other from the next unit over. The building has that typical industrial feel, with concrete walls and stairs that have seen better days. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor; we’re mostly focused on getting through the pile of work on our desks. There’s a tea stall just a short walk away where most of us go to get a break when things get too hectic inside. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with air-conditioned hallways and shiny floors, but it’s practical for what we need to do. We’ve been at this spot for some time now, and while the area around Andheri West keeps changing with new malls and cafes, this little industrial pocket stays pretty much the same. It’s a busy, messy, hardworking place and we sort of like it that way. We just keep our heads down and get the job done.
