Eastern Printing Press

We operate out of Crescent Chambers on the first floor. The building is at 56 Tamarind in the Fort area, right across from Dinesh Hall. It’s an old part of the city and the streets are always full of people moving around. Printing is what we do, and the machines take up a lot of the room here. There is always the smell of ink and the sound of paper moving through the presses. It's a bit loud sometimes when we have a big job running. We do all sorts of printing tasks for local businesses and individuals who need things on paper. Our setup is traditional and we’ve been here for quite some time now. You have to walk up to the first floor to find us. We don't have a big sign outside, just the name on the door. A lot of our customers have been coming to us for years because they know exactly where we are and how we work. We don't really do the fancy digital marketing stuff; we just print what is requested. Sometimes the deadlines are tight, so we stay late to make sure everything gets finished. It's a busy environment and things can get a bit messy with paper scraps and ink cans around. We just try to get the colors right and the lines straight. It’s a standard printing shop and we like being part of the Fort community.
