Being in Goregaon East means you are always in the middle of everything. Our place, Dvm Engg Pvt. Ltd., is over at Plot No. 9 inside the Kamla Bhavan Buildings. It is right on Sharma Industrial Estate Road, which stays pretty busy from morning until late at night. You can hear the sounds of the city and the other industrial shops nearby. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights. It is just a practical space where we handle our engineering business. The building itself has seen a lot of years, and you can tell by the walls. Inside, it’s all about the tools and the projects we have going on. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. Most days, we are just busy with the machines and making sure things are moving along. The workers here know the local spots for lunch and the shortcuts through the estate to avoid the worst of the traffic. It gets hot in the afternoons, but that is part of working in an industrial estate in Mumbai. We like the location because everyone knows where the Sharma Industrial area is. It makes things easier for deliveries and for the staff to get here. It’s a straightforward setup for people who just want to get their work finished. We have our desks, our equipment, and plenty of coffee to keep us going through the long shifts.
