Duro Overseas Trading House

Our office is located in the TTC Industrial Area over in Mahape, Navi Mumbai. We are in the MIDC zone at A-429. It’s a busy spot with trucks coming and going all day long. Duro Overseas Trading House is basically where we coordinate all the shipping and trading stuff we do. It’s not a very quiet area, especially with all the factories around us, but it’s practical for moving goods. The office itself is pretty basic—just some computers, filing cabinets, and a kettle for making tea. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking emails about shipments. Navi Mumbai is a good place for a trading house because of the connections, though the traffic on the Thane-Belapur road can be a real pain during peak hours. We’ve been in this unit for quite a while now. We handle a lot of different items depending on what’s in demand, mostly overseas stuff. There isn't much to see if you visit, just us working through piles of paperwork. We don't have any corporate slogans or anything. We just focus on getting the containers moved and the paperwork sorted out. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here in Mahape. We like the small food stalls nearby for lunch, which is a nice break from the office desk.
